guys and gals pls advice ...

i applied under cec from delhi ,but currently in Canada .I had initially selected the delhi visa office in the application form ..
.any idea if the passport request would come from delhi high commission or the ottawa pilot ?
till now all communications ( fingerprint ,medical ) have been coming from ottawa only
cheers .

when did you get the medical request?
did it come along with the RCMP request?
and also what is your current ecas status? did it change to in progress?

yup says in progress ,started processing on 24th Jan .

thats a good sign,,,,it means june applications are being worked on as well now,,,,,

If you did not change your address with CIC, your passport request will most likely come from Delhi!

when i landed in canada ,i had sent my new address to CIC from toronto.
Like i said all email communications i have received are from Ottawa pilot !

Early June applicants,
Based on this case I am guessing CIC is following the sequence in the file number, I am guessing iceman's file number would start on E00008XXXX (july) , my file number starts with E00009XXXX (received oct 18)
Also all those who received their AOR ahead of us from CIO, their file number also created ahead of us. Only late may and early June applicants got stuck in between.if CIC follows the file number sequence then we would probably get our Medicals only after all others got their AORs ahead of us which would be late June, July and August applicants. I hope this doesnt happen to us This is just my guess also that may be the probable reason that still most of the late may applicants didn't receive medicals

My application number also starts with 9XXXX. This is sad my app was received on June 7 and AOR on Nov 1.....

Some what similar i guess, my application was received on 1st June and i got my AOR on 26th Oct. Also my file number
starts from 9XXXXXX. I just hope some miracle happens and they start working fast.

i applied on 8th june ..got aor on 20th july ... EXXXX8XXXX

there are people i know from May who still havent got anything ,some from june mid already got PPR request ..so no standardization in the process ... ???

mnjdev - I hope you are wrong ...that would be so unfair...visiting the forum after a long gap and I see that still May applicants are getting MRs...the process has surely slowed down...when I applied most ppl got MRs within 6 months from app date...It will be 8 months since I filed my app in 2 days...and no sign of MR...hopefully we all will get MRs in feb.
