Has anyone tried GCMS yet?

ok so here goes my timeline :

application received 11th june
aor 11th july
..
.
.
.
..
nothing till now so had ordered my GCMS notes. Says Criminality check in progress and also mentions that for me Fingerprint check req where as for my wife its ok .
I had applied from India after 3 yrs of exp but currently in toronto .
not sure if i shud get the fingerprint check done now or wait .

sent an email to OPP ,got a standard reply that your application is in queue !!

any advices ??

I have a question regarding leaving the country, i applied in june from inside Canada, i'm going to leave the country and wait for my medical request at my home country. Should i let CIC know and right now our communication is through email. Please advice.

That is pretty long. You will eventually have to use a valid mail address. So, you will have to update CIC about the address change. I have one friend who was in similar situation. But he was using his uncle's address which is in Canada as mailing address. Hope this might help.

Hi,

you can request for the information using this form :

english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf

Also you will have to pay 5$ and attach the receipt.

I have already requested for the same.

Can somebody tell me how long does it take to get this information ?

within 3-4 weeks you get the report in the email ...

I saw on my GCMS file that for RCMP ,fingerprint required has been entered. This was as of1st Jan 2013 ,but i still havent received any request to get these done.
Any idea how long and when does cic ask for these ?
Also does it make sense to get it done now and send them before they ask !!
