No AOR yet, but my case is now showing on ECAS as of this morning (can't remember when last I checked).
My suggestion to everyone would be not to panic too much. It looks like 2 things are happening:
1. Internal procedures are changing - For example, AORs being issued by the central intake office for new application.
2. Things are slowing down - It's fairly evident that things in the last couple months have been 2-3 months slower than they have in recent times
In addition, with the changing of the requirements for CEC workers from 2 to 1 year in January, this class is going to see a considerable uptake in application.
However, on the positive side, the CEC class is being allocated more PR spots in 2013. They are expecting to admit 7,000 under the CEC for 2012, and 10,000 in 2013, representing a 40% increase in admission. This should help offset the increase in applications as a result of the rule change.
Have a beer, relax, and don't obsess over the process too much.
