June 2012 Applications

This question is too premature.. But thought i will ensure something before hand.

My record is
App sent : 11th June
App received : 18th June
CC charged: 11th July
AOR received: 23th July

I am currently in Canada and on WP. I will return to home country(India) in another 1-2 months time for good.
My correspondence address is that of my home country. I have also chosen New Delhi as my preferred Visa Office.
God willing, if everything goes fine and assuming I am asked to do the medicals, will i be allowed to complete my medicals in India ?
Does anyone see any challenge in this process ? any surprises ?

Same here! I guess no electronic updates of applications have been done for many early June applicants. Hope the end is exciting enough to dilute the wait.

I think the application will only show up on ecas after the AOR is issued by CPP-O...thats when they will allot a file number to the application.

I have not received the AOR, however, I can see my application on ecas using my UCI number-- status = "Application Received" on June 14th.

No update on FSW2 and same goes here for CEC..

Did u noticed the update (Aug 20) on Processing Time in cic website. still they dont have time for post june 26 2010 :-(

Yeah..noticed that...CEC processing time is now 14 months...We should get some news on CEC soon..May applicants are getting AORs now...so a few days before we hear something..seems to be a little over 3 months for getting the AOR from CPP-O.

If it gets me there some 5-6 months earlier, that would not be a bad investment. Could be the difference between staying in a having job and looking for a new one. I would like to know the permutations involved with re-applying when under the same category!

Personally, I don't think it's worth it. The only thing that has changed so far is the AOR being sent from sydney after a month instead of from cpp-oafter 3 months. There is no indication that medicals, passport request or anything else will come any quicker. My suggestion would just be to wait until 3 months have passed, May applicants have ben getting their AORs all week which means early June is next and then we will all be in the same position having received AORs and waiting.
