And the wait continues....looks like none of the May applicants have got an AOR yesterday....have not seen anyone after May 17th getting an AOR...why is CPP-O taking so long ? its so hard to be patient...the wait is so depressing

People who applied in early August got their AOR by the end of August!!!

There is just no winning with CIC... Timing is certainly not their strong point.
We applied earlier in June ... shouldn't that mean something?

I was wondering if anyone's Ecas status shows Application received?

Mine just shows Decision made (from my previous application). When I called CIC yesterday the person on the phone said, they were working on my application, no documents were missing and that it had been successfully transferred from Buffalo. He was obviously unable to tell me what the progress was.

So if they're working on it shouldn't the status have changed by now? Any idea anyone?

Well..they are getting AORs from CIO, Sydney ..and they issue AOR soon after payment is encashed...this started mid june onwards...before mid june everyone got AORs from CPP-O in abt 3 months...

Would be interesting to see if applicants after mid june who got AOR from Sydney..get another AOR from CPP-O.

Your ecas will change to applicaion recd once you get an aor from cpp-o for ur CEC app. Before that it will only show ur previous applications if any or nohing at all...this is what i gather after reading the forum. I can also see my FSW2 app on ecas...the CEC does not show up yet...

I just kept reading the August app thread without checking where they applied. Good to know that there is a difference and we're not getting totally screwed.

As for AOR.... hope we all just get it soon. I was beginning to think something might be wrong with my ecas.

hello my fellow applicant as i told you before i applied in june 2012 and my doc received in june 12th i applied for OWP AND PR am living as a CAREGIVER today i thankx GOD i received OWP LETTER FROM CIC. so am but AOR not yet but am so Grateful i hop everyone can get what he/she deserve

it is not always true because i never received any aor but i am able to view my status online (e-cas) and it says application received on august 17th, 2012. no previous application shown on e-cas either. it can also happen opposite way because some people have got their aor through email and haven't been able to view their status online.

Looking online status as In Process with message "We received your application for permanent residence on May 30, 2012."
No progress till now.

Any one can have similar or better process time.

Looks like you have applied under FSW...you can post this in the FSW forum..this forum is for canadian experience class.

Once late may applicants will resume to receive their AOR we will see. I emailed CIO sydney last week and they replied to me that my app was already transfered to CPP-O. Now is all about waiting.
