No, haven't heard of that. I got my PPR first then two days later ECAS showed Decision Made, with others it's the opposite. I guess they're linked closely by date: no PPR until DM. Probably just the lag in getting ECAS updated.

Yes Orko... my ECAS shows medicals recd...from the time I did my medicals, it took 6 weeks for CIC to update status as "Medicals Received".

Mine is taking more than 8 weeks. I am getting worried. I have contacted the clinic, wondering if they put all my information correctly. They didn't pick up, so I might drop by at their clinic after lunch.

me too, PPR first, then DM a couple of day later, I've been told there is a final review date on my file in July, which accordingly is "This is standard procedure. An Officer must do a final review after all the information is received"

wondering why they need to do final review when Decision is already Made? Isn't it the final review first, then make decision? weired

I've followed this forum quite extensively for a while and I've never heard of any "final review date" after receiving Passport Request and the ECAS being updated to "Decision Made". If I may ask, did you get this information from your GCMS notes? Or somewhere else? You seem to be quoting directly - it will be great if you can share the source.

I guess it's the final date in the system that a file has to be finalized, whether approve or refuse.

also if counting from June 2012, July 2013 is the 13 months of processing time on their website

For me ECAS was updated to Decision Made from last 10 days and no update since then.

Received my GCMS notes today exactly after 30 days. Had a good look at it. The strange thing is that nothing started for me except Criminality which is in progress.
The due date mentioned is April 26, 2013. I believe by now the notes should have shown Passed for all the assessments except Medicals.

Maybe because, the notes are actually old. I think they generate them and then wait 30 days to send them by email
Since you already got your medical request, you definitely passed the eligibility. Criminality and other checks could be going in parallel.
Don't worry, your next steps are coming soon as well!
good luck! and thanks for sharing this info. From what I've seen, CIC works in very mysterious ways, and there is no defined sequence of steps that they take. oh well.... all we can do is wait, or better yet go on with our lives, while they do their work.

3 weeks since I sent the passport and nothing has moved since...was checking the PNP forum and looks like its taking time for passport return. At the same time, I do see some pps being returned quickly. As per my understanding, the processing is complete after PPR and DM on ecas. Is that correct or there is still some processing left which delays the PP return? Don't understand why the stamping and return of the passport should take so long.

are you from a visa exempt country? If you are, I guess you will get the COPR in mail directly without the PPR after DM on ecas.

If the person has a legal representative, will the COPR go to the lawyer mailing address or the individual? I'm guessing it goes to the lawyer?
