Hi ...Once you receive approval, the mail contains the UCI client number, go to cic website -> Check application status online-> Enter your details and you can check tht..But after receiving approval, sometimes it is not updated immediately. You need to wait for some days then u can able to login and see the update....

thankx SMVI , i login there and the status was ( application received in 13/06/2012) it means not updated yet , and i want to know even my application in abou dhabi visa office still i can use the CIC website ??

Ive received an email from CIC stating:

Date: August 22, 2012 UCI: *******
Application: ******

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on behalf of *****and family (if applicable). We are not able to process your application as it is incomplete. You are missing the following:

- An original Medical Report Form (IMM1017 Copy 2) signed by a Designated Medical Practitioner (DMP) for the person(s) you are sponsoring. This must be received at this office by: 10/22/2012

All requested documents/information and a copy of this letter must be submitted within the timeframes specified above (formatted as “month/day/year”). If you are unable to provide any or all of the requested documents/information, please explain why they are not available. [/i]

When my partner had his medical done in Cambridge, England, he was given only a reciept and told he didnt need anything else from them, and that they would then send his completed medical to the London VO. Was he supposed to get this form from the doctor? I cant seem to find any such form from anywhere?! ooooooo Im so upset!!!! :'(

Get your Husband to request that he get a copy of the medical form. Was this guy a registered DMP on the website by CIC? If he is you need to get the number on the form so that they can match want he sent with your file. If you did not include a copy of the medical receipt how are they suppose to match them up? The doctor is suppose to have the medical form that gives out 3 copies, 1 to him, 1 to you and one sent to the VO.

The receipt is the requested form and it should had been included in your application. You can send it to them now as requested

You mean "RECEIPT" as in receipt of payment?

The Medical form is being forwarded by the Doctor's office where you had your medical examinations done. You can re-verify to the Doctor's Office and once got a copy send it right away.

As the doctor told him he would send everything required to the VO and there were no forms for him to take, we only included a literal receipt showing we paid (for both the medical and chest x-ray). It was done by one of the doctors on the CIC list. My partner has just called to request this and the lady on the phone told him the person who deals with these issues is on holiday, and as they no longer do medicals for Canadian immigration she is unsure where to locate the file (NIGHTMARE!). I am just worried that when we do track the file down, they will not be able to give us an original copy (which is what is required).

Sorry, not this receipt. It's the other one that contains a photo of the applicant attached to it. The doctor should've gave it to your partner. I guess you should call CIC call centre and explain your situation.
