I've called CIC so many times before and boy, sometimes you're really unlucky to get
answers from st*pd agents!

that would be really unlucky then!! but really try again... if by any chance
you get the same agent, tell him to listen to you very carefully!

I don't want them to be like "hey didn't you just call,we gave you a answer already,now stop calling you impatient american" lol I think after the length of time I've waited i have a right to be impatient though.

either way how is a answer of " were working on something 9 days past when yours was received, so you'll hear in 2-3 weeks" even reasonable?!
sorry for the rant, but it's frustrating me.

No, really! I've tried calling them so many times in just a split second difference because
I know some agents are really hmm let's just say out of this world.

English may not be my native tongue but I know I can converse well.
Some agents really don't know what they're talking about.

so you've called them, hung up then called right back?
it didn't have an impact on your app did it?

Hmm well this was the time when we haven't submitted our application yet.
I was talking to one guy and was asking clarifications on filling out firms and all he can tell me
was to read the immigration guide. Ugh so very helpful! I called again and a nice lady answered
my questions in no time.

Thanks to this forum I was able to put together our application!

Dont be so scared to call!!!! you need answers.

Do you really want to wait 2-3 weeks and have sleepless nights,check your email 200000000000 times a day, get angry and then get frustrated and dont know what to do next, when people around you get their approvals?????

I received the sponsorship approval email today, Aug 11th.

App received-16 june
sponsorship approved-11 august

I called them and they told me that it was in process and call back in 2 weeks, grrrrrrr, it's so frustrating.
Do you think we have the same immigration person, lol.

You mean officer processing our application? idk lol. but the call centre agent I could tell his first language was not english.
