Seems like it's not a ghost update if it happens at around 12:30 PM IST.
Anyone with biometrics, applied till 20-21 July and didn't get a medical update? Anything new in your application?

Bro.. AIP is only valid for Fall intake.. IRCC clearly mentioned if you change anything in ur profile, they will review it as fresh/again... So AIP is not valid in his case as he deferred to Jan...although this is stupid decision by IRCC... but he can't challenge based on AIP...

Sorry you are wrong on this one. In fact I received AIP through the portal directly from Ottawa based on my January 2021 LOA ( deferred from Fall 2020 ) and received OPR as well. In the webinar they have clearly stated that deferrals are not an issue at all after you get an AIP.

Also i think some officers assessed fresh Jan and May intake files and gave them AIP but their official position was they will only hand out AIPs for September intake. Now they can't go back on it.

My Medical was updated on Jul 15. And I had submitted in May 20.
