I was using just my first name as given name. It should be entered with middel name (my-name father-name) as in passport.

Nice!! You can now have some idea on your status. The VFS tracking thing drains up all our patience.

I applied on 14th July.

My status is exactly the same as yours- Processing.

See, the time taken is totally irrelevant of when you applied. They are not picking as per submission date. Students who applied late are sometimes getting updates sooner while others who have applied in June are still waiting. I just wish we all have some update atleast by tomorrow.

I am just like every other member in this group buddy. Had no idea until I hit this forum to find help from wonderful people here.

Hey,

I applied for non-SPP study permit on 13th of June from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. My status has not been changed since then on VFS tracking.

I called on their help line but they said it takes minimum time of 7 weeks but there is no specific maximum time for these process.

College assessment is already began from 28th of August 2017. And last date for registration is 8th September. Already informed college for delay and asked for extension.

Any one faced the same delay ? Any suggestion ?

Yes, it is under process ever since I linked my application to CIC on 2nd September.

Try Skipping your place of birth town and place of birth country. It worked for me. Might as well help you out.
