Currently in a similar situation you were. My citizenship test was scheduled to be taken between Sep 1 to Sep 21, 2023.
Did the test on Sep 1, passed it, received an automated email immediately saying that I've completed the test, but until now my online tracker hasn't been updated yet and still shows Citizenship test as "In Progress". In fact, everything is still "In Progress" except for Background verification which is "Complete".

Anyone else in the same boat?
this is 1 month! where is your office?

Anyone know how long the virtual citizenship ceremonies usually take? The letter says it could take up to 2. 5hours, but is that accurate?

Yes if the ceremony has 120+ people. Mostly virtual ones do have it. Some have less but still goes on for 1.5 hrs. As your letter says 2.5 hrs they might have already invited more people.

Yes! Passed my test on September 6, haven’t had any updates since. Tracker doesn’t show my test as passed.
All of us in Scarborough office really are unlucky honestly. every other visa office seems to be moving along at a good pace. I am afraid Scarborough office is becoming the batch of applications that dont move at all. Something has got to give. We all know IRCC will not clear the backlog if it becomes too big instead just focus on new applications

Yeah I’m seeing people who submitted applications much later than me already scheduled for an oath, while I don’t even get an update on a test status for over a month. I’m not sure if anything can be done about that

IRCC website says you should receive your citizenship around 4 to 6 months of your test. From the other pages, it seems late may to mid june applications are being scheduled for citizenship.

Stay calm. Everyone's turn will come. Panicking is going to only cause unnecessary stress. You are only going to wait once for the citizenship during your lifetime.

Yeah same office, same situation. Test given on Sept 4th, nothing since then (even test is not updated on tracker).

27K and not 127K. Also statistically only 45% of PR's apply for Canadian citizenship within 10 years( note 10 years and not immediately). This percentage is falling.

So 1/3 of 27K is 9K and divide 9K over 10 years. So less than a 1000 applications. Also please note, a draw on Feb 2021 does not imply a permanent residency by a specific date or even an application for permanent residency.

We will be fine. Also on a separate topic, visa processing is being automated going forward. So this will reduce workload even further. Processing is not FIFO.
Yes, thanks for the correction. Patience is the word here now.
