July 2022 Visitor Visa Applications

Has anyone witnessed any progress in their parent's visitor visa from India, with no previous US or UK visas?

I applied on July 15 and did biometrics on Jul 25 but after that, there has been no movement at all. It just says "Submitted" and eligibility hasn't started at all

Applied on July 3 for myself and my family. Eligibility started long time ago, but since then np update. Waiting for 4 months 20 days as of now..

If i get visitor visa for 6 months and I'll stay in canada for 6 months but after 6 month i want to extend my visa then what should i do for extend my visa .!?
So that i can stay longer in canada.

I hope I'll get suggestions quickly and thank you for that.

Submitted application for tourist visa on 16th July, 2022.

Biometrics - 21st July, 2022.

Passport request - 26th November, 2022.

Submitted passport for stamping - 29th November, 2022.

Applied from Mumbai, India after 7.5 years. Went to Canada as a student in 2012 and came back to India in 2015.

Family ties - Sister Pr Holder in Canada.

All I can say for everyone waiting for their visas. I can relate to your anxiety if you'll have submitted proper documents, financials are good( should also be logical for the visa officer), there's no reason to worry.

How do we know what office it being processed please? I applied online on new portal

I just got a passport request for my TRV Application, and I'm submitting my passsport tomorrow. How many days approx. will it take to get the passport stamped ? I see answers are all over like some are like 3-5days, or 7-10 days, 0r max. 3 weeks.

Any timeline from people who got it recently?

I submitted my mother's application on the 17th of July (outland from UAE) and just received her BVL and PPR today, 30th November. However, she's travelling to India for an emergency and I wanted to know if she can submit her passport for stamping at VFS in Mumbai. Any help would be much appreciated.
