I'm not sure, maybe one or two weeks ago. How long does it usually take to complete the review of eligibility?

As understood after analysing the moderate data on this forum, sometimes background & review of eligibility starts almost together, in this case it will take 3 to 4 months approximately as per current processing trends. However, sometimes review of eligibility starts after 2 or 3 months of background processing then it should be around few weeks, may be 2 to 4 weeks. This is based on my understanding which may be wrong. Regards

I absolutely agree that IRCC has no correlation with anyone's circumstances. Can I however seek your opinion on whether I had done a mistake in applying on GC Key for a reunion with my brother in Canada. I have seen many people get processed in less than 15 days while I m still waiting for my July22 application to be processed/ opened.
Should I have applied in IRCC portal?
Should I switch from GC Key to IRCC portal?
What will be the procedure for me to withdraw gc Key application and use IRCC portal instead. Thank you.
How many people are getting processed within 15 days? They may be eligible for CAN+ processing. Where is he applying from because you have only been waiting 2 months. I honestly don’t think changing portals will make a difference. Your brother hasn’t been waiting that long.
I have seen tons getting approved in a group chat within 15 days.
Brother applied from India and the processing times are 136 days but our uncle got approved in under 14 days.
Has your uncle been to Canada or the US? Your brother is within the current processing times so don’t understand why you would start again, but his choice.
Ok if your brother made a mistake then reapply. Your uncle may have a strong profile - travel history, his own funds, strong ties to home country - so approved more quickly.

You will read both sides of whether to apply through one or the other. I don’t know why you would withdraw when he is within processing times. But it is your choice. Send a webform and withdraw application and resubmit. Remember it takes weeks to process webform requests so he may have two applications at once.
Mine also same date of submission like 9th July 2022 and last update was on 29th July 2022 with medicals but still my review didn't started ... What's your application number ?... Applied from India ?... When your review started ?

Don't withdraw/cancel anything. There are processing times mentioned. If you still have not crossed the processing time, then why to interfere and get in the que all over again. On another note, I heard of other people who applied another application through new portal and go their money refunded for the previous one.
But then again, you will come across 100 stories out here on various threads!
I have applied from UAE, I'm not sure exactly when the eligibility review started to be honest.
