You can only access Ecas if you sent paper application.

Paper Application also they can register on the tracker not only ecas

I can see my status " in progress" when I log into the tracker but I get an error whenever I try on ecas: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do
it says "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided". I tried both the UCI and application number and I got the same message. My application is a paper application.

It depends on when you received your AOR. You should be able to see it max 1 week time. Good luck!!

In there ECAS are you using the application# starting with C or UCI# without the hyphen/- ?

Is that information from the old ecas or you already registered on the new one ?

It’s from the new portal and the fact that it’s in progress and I just took its last “updated time”.

Hello folks cic asked my wife to provide police certificate or explanation for no certificate is required for your time spent in India. This is for 1 year time before 3 years eligibility period when she was in india waiting for pr. She is born Indian citizen and lived in india before coming here. My understanding is she would need to provide an explanation for no certificate or does she needs a certificate?? If no certificate than what would be the explanation?? Thanks in advance

Whenever one see In-Process in old ECAS..That is when one should email with information which office will handle file. This is good trigger and should expect other steps...Test invite etc.
