Hello all,

I have a doubt and request help from members who are aware of such a scenario.
I moved to Canada as a PR in 2018.

I was a resident in the state of Qatar till Oct 2017.

There is a question in the application
In the past 4 years, were you in a country or territory other than Canada for 183 days or more in a row (since the age of 18)?

In the year of 2017 I had entered Qatar on 27 March 2017 and exited on 22 October. Which means that the total duration of my stay in that year was 210 days.

If I start counting the days from a predated period of 4 years from today, i.e. from Jul 31 2017 and then calculate the days that I stayed in Qatar is only 86.

Am I required to submit a PCC in this case?

Please advise.

To make it simple, if you stay falls under eligibility period then yes. You can cross check it with citizenship calculator. Do you see those days under it ? Is it more than 183 ? If yes then yes.

Can someone please insert my record for July 30. I sent my from Mississauga on July 30 via priority post. Single, and Paper Application. Physical Days present: 1143.
