Hi All, I just had another GU, called IRCC they said all background verification is passed including security...waiting for the final decision and next steps.. Can anyone tell me how many days I have to wait after security?
When was your previous GU? I’m also waiting for security…

Short update:
BC PNP Inland
AOR 13 July 2021
Medicals passed 27 Oct 2021
BIL 27 Oct 2021
Biometrics taken 28 Oct 2021
Ghost updates: 24 and 25 January 2022, biometrics went from "waiting for fingerprints" to "received"

Called IRCC today, was on hold for 40 minutes or so. The agent was very nice, told me my file was at the Sydney NS office and that things "looked good" and I should expect to hear something shortly, with the caveat that call centre agents can't give timelines.

So I hope this helps the mood of anyone else in a similar situation. Also, don't be afraid to call! I've called every day since last Friday and this is the first time I got through.

I have saved RFV email as PDF and uploaded it on the VFS's "Passport Submission Letter as sent by IRCC" slot.

Also what is the option that needs to be selected in the "Select Your Visa Category" ?? - Passport Submission for Permanent Resident Travel Document ?!!
Thanks for the response. Yeah I'm also going to do the same.

You have to select the first category in the drop down ~ Passport Submission for Permanent Resident (Family Class Priority, Economy PR)

Okay I was able to raise a request for 2-way courier. Can anyone confirm the content of envelope:

1. 2 pictures
2. VAC consent form (printed and filled by hand)
3. Courier/SMS consent form (printed and filled by hand)
4. Personal details (like eye color, height, passport number, app number etc - typed and printed)
5. RFV mail (printed)
6. Passport (current valid passport only)

Instructions to be followed:
Failure to follow the below protocol may lead to further delay in processing of your application.
1. Ensure there is only 1 packet per applicant & include the following in each of the package,
- SMS / Courier return form
- Consent form from all adult applicants(18 plus)
- Passport transmission letter for all applicants for whom service has been booked and paid for.

- Current and Valid passport for all applicants for whom service has been booked and paid for (Kindly do not submit old passports)

In the mail received from VFS, there is no mention of pictures and personal details. Is this all or am I missing something here?

It states very clearly in the PPR "Ready for Visa" email that pictures mentioning the specific size and info writen on one of the back photo. Please include the pictures, they have to be recent as well taken within last 6 months.

Also, share with them the RPRF receipt. Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) for you and your accompanying spouse (if applicable). They are specifically asking for the copy of the payment receipt. Please do attach this document as well. Most times, this is generally paid as a part of the application.

I would also suggest to attach a word doc/letter mentioning the list of documents that you are sending in that package for their reference.

Hope this helps.
