I didn't get any ghost update email, but I logged in and found my status has changed from "Submited" to "Application/profile updated" AOR 19 July.

The status changed to "Submited" after I clicked on "Check full application status"

"Ghost Update" is not an official term and you do not get a mail. Only the status changes to 'Application/Profile Updated' and back to 'Submitted' in CIC portal.

I know its not official, I thought ghost update is when you get an email that the application was updated, but when you login, there are no new messages and there are no changes to your application.

I rarely check the IRCC's website. I think I check this forum more than express entry portal

One of the group members of what's app group aor 21 July was able to call IRCC last night.
His eligibility, criminality and medical all are passed and security is under process.

Hi All, does any one from July 2021 AOR got your Security check passed and moved to PPR status?

Security is last stage in processing before PPR. I think even if somehow we reach security stage - which is unlikely, since most of us got BIL/MEP in Nov-Dec - we won't get PPR. A lot of profiles from 2019-2020 are stuck in Security and there is no way Jul21 lot will get PPR before them. I could be wrong though
