I took the oath yesterday. There are around 68 applicants (here I consider families as 1 applicant) in the waiting room. But after registration, there are 56 who actually join the ceremony.
The waiting time for registration is long.
The registration is to check you have everything on check list and cut PR card. And ask you if you have moved.
The ceremony itself is to say the oath and sing a song. So it’s quick.
Then they show PPT instructions to tell you after ceremony you need to sign and email the oath form.
The whole process took 2 and a half hours.

On Jan 12th all the modules on my tracker were set to completed. How long it took for you from everything set to completed and getting oath invite?

2.5 hours for 68 people is too long. Do you know how long you have to wait before taking the oath, or you have to be on the screen all the time? I imagine 2.5 hours is too long to be on the screen and not doing anything else, like going to the rest room ... etc, and you don't want to go to the rest room and then they start the oath . Also, did you try to ask to pick your certificate in person from the Montreal office?

Hi, DM should be imminent but oath could be a while. After you get DM I would say it's going to be 6 months until you have a passport in your hand. So let's say 1 month more for DM, 4 months for oath and 1 for passport. I got my DM on Nov 1st but nothing since unfortunately. I passed my test around mid June. Ottawa office. Everything seems to take 4-6 months...

Our status changed on the old portal to ‘Decision Made.’ It still shows as ‘In Progress’ on the new tracker, though, with prohibitions, language, and physical presence still showing as ‘in process.’ Hopefully, that will change soon.

As we now have a ghost status change to ‘Decision Made’ on the old portal, I am curious if a passport copy request follows before the ceremony invite or if that was required it would have already been requested.

Do you know, after DM if ECAS gets updated for Oath? or is it just the Status Tracker?

The old system just shows DM but doesn't say what that DM is! So no is the answer. But the tracker will show things being completed so you can see that the DM is in fact successful. I'm still waiting for the oath part to start on the tracker myself (waiting 3 months).

I completed my online citizenship test in the end of November 2021. I still have not received an update of "completed" on the tracker , It still says in progress on the test section..... Should I call them ? Has anyone else had such a delay after their online test ? Please advise

It's usually nothing to worry about and simply not updated properly but to be certain I'd call or submit a webform. It'll probably get updated to everthing completed and DM with just the oath ceremony to wait for. Just depends on the agent and the processing office

I would suggest calling them and/or sending a message. Best way would be to reply on the same email where you received the original Test Invite since that would be from your local office in charge of the test. In Progress for 1.5 months is something out of the normal for sure.

I had a similar experience, my test wasn't updated after a month that I passed the test, I emailed them. They confirmed I did write the test but waiting for validation. Surprisingly, it was updated to completed the same day.

I am also struggling with mississauga offc..profile completed sep 30 and then no update for oath.. What do u suggest ? Webforms did not help

Hi , by looking at your timeline under your post, I just have a question. After you completed the online test, how long did it take for the test status to change to "completed" on your tracker ? I've been waiting since Nov 2021, no change yet.
