July 2020 - Citizenship application

Anyone from Montreal office
Single applicant - IRCC received file on 02-July-2020
Citizenship Exam - Taken on July 05
So far only Citizenship test and background verification is updated to "Completed"
Language skills, physical presence and prohibition are in "In Progress"

Any one on the same page?

Many people are waiting for > 3 mths. To be honest, there's no yardstick, just think that you will be the luckiest person if you become Citizenship before 2 years after applying.

Emailed the office and also talked to an agent. Both saud everything looks good and application is in queue for oath. They'll contact me when its my turn. i m really hoping/praying i hear something in nxt 2 months

I was saying if I received the oath before the end of this year, I would be happy. Now that's not going to happen, I am hoping to be invited by the end of Q1 2022. And the hope and wait continue and continue while IRCC is oblivious to the damage they have caused to our physical and mental lives

I sent webforms many times and got only standard reply saying I’m not in priority list so they won’t answer me. I called and cannot talk to a real person. I sent email to Montreal office and got no reply. I made ATIP request 6 weeks ago and got no reply.

Personally, I haven't bothered to call because I assumed the wait times would be so bad because of the pandemic. However, I didn't know there is an email address you can reach them at?

by email it means normally the office who been communicating with you - for test , additional docs etc etc

I asked him when is this Afghanistan thing is gonna end?

- it's really unprofessional to say "we only process high priority calls" to the clients. How about put that on their site and tell us outright before we call? Waste of our time.
- I thought the Afghanistan ones belong to the refugee/immigration application, which is a different category from the citizenship app?

my ceremony is Tomorow 16 December and I didn’t recive yet the confirmation letter I talk to them they sent a NOTE to the local office in Edmonton she say if notinghappen Today they will scheduled to an other day and this can take weeks or even month
I don’t know what’s going on?
any one have same case

Oh? Mine doesn't really give any office address. The email that sent me my test link and additional documents request was :
DNCITSRYTESTS@cic.gc.ca
I don't know if you can tell which office sent the emails from that.
