Hi guys,

I should take my citizenship test from Sep30 to Oct 21. I am still waiting for instructions (invitation).
If I don't get them, whom should I call? Due to the crisis in Afghanistan, it is almost impossible to reach out an immigration rep (1-888-242-2100 ).

He got an email today with the ceremony day. He did not have any email regarding decision made, so I believe that to the spreadsheet the DM would be sept 27.

Buddy, I got the same timeline for test but no invitation so far. I got in touch with Ircc call center and was told that untill I receive my test invite the test window dates might change if the online tracker date remains the same and we don't receive an email after Sept 30 just give them a call early morning they might do something. I even found out from a few Facebook groups that currently local offices are sending test invite emails at the very last moment or even late September 30th. Hope this helps.. but please keep me updated as well. Thank-you

As far as I know, you can sign in to take the test without an invite if (and only if) you're scheduled but somehow they forgot to send you an email. The link is already in tracker under Test activity: Test Sign In

That is very true.. IRC is very forgetful these days they never sent me AOR nor any test invite. I'm totally depended on the online tracker.
 
Hi Everyone,
Like many of you, I am silently suffering due to delays in the grant of citizenship. My test was complete on 11 Jun 2021 and ECAS DM was 29 Jul. Got the case notes last week and citizenship has been granted. Haven't heard a thing about the oath ceremony yet. My PR card expires at the end of this year.
I just wonder, can't we do anything about this situation? Is there no way to hold the CIC accountable for these delays?
