July 2020 - Citizenship application

Have you provided fingerprints at all in the last few years - Canada and abroad?

It was in 2015 for the PR application

I received AOR for 2 out of the 4 in the family application. I received that letter yesterday.
Should the tracker be updated or when I get the letter for all 4 of us?
N/B my Ecas has been In-Process since January 12th.

2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 29, 2020.
3. We started processing your application on January 8, 2021.

but I never received the acknowledging receipt, should I call them and ask or could I submit a web form inquiry?

If you never received an AOR, you can call them to make sure that they have your email and everything is setup to be sent by email.

In our case, we don't have #2, it is basically we received and we started processing your application. The AOR was delayed but we got it by email.

I got almost exactly same dates as you (also have #2) and got AOR in February via email. Maybe check your spam folder?

You can call them but they have had a lot of problems with sending those AOR. Most important is that your status is "in process" so you dont even need that AOR .

I applied after my 55th birthday, late July 2020. Application currently sitting at "in process". Any evidence or opinion on whether my application might be processed faster than others age 54 or below, due to me having no language proficiency or test requirement?

I do not think it will be much faster. You still need to undergo security and background check. It is different for minors and their application is processed faster

They didnt mention in the email which service/agency you should use?

FP request it not a new stage and not everybody getting those You still "in process" stage, so they just reviewing your application and sending requests if they have some doubts.

Did you check ecas? You might not receive an AOR but the application might be received/in process already
