Hello, I sent my application in July 2020. I have never received AOR. I am unable to see the status of the application online, so I decided to submit a form thru the CIC website.

They have answered me confirming that they do not have my application in the system at all. They have asked me to contact the post office to see what happened to my application. I contacted Canada Post where they told me there is nothing they can do because I sent it without a tracking number.

Nobody knows where my application is, I have been waiting for 6 months.

what on earth do I do? Help..
How did they check your application is in the system or not ? Call representative can not tell anything unless envelope is opened at once. So how they/you could be sure that your application was opened even ? Perhaps the envelope is not yet opened .

I’ve called this number today , the answering machine said they don’t take calls t’right now. What options did you choose?
You need to keep calling till you get the line. Press 4 for citizenship and press 0 to talk with representative. If you dont get it repeat it. Then wait till you get your turn . I think almost 30-40 min waiting time .

I did!! I trusted the post office.. ! Is it possible they have received my application but haven’t even opened it??

i am in the same boat... i have tracking and they asked me to call canada post and when i check online says delivered. Coc just sent you same generic email i got. Our files are still on the shelf untouched. I guess we have to wait.
I will wait till Jan 23 if no AOR or ecas update i will submit it online

Thanks, @Canadiann2020, I did the same as you and got the AOR numbers after calling the IRCC call center. They told me that communication will be sent out to us soon. So, i have the AOR numbers of all 4 of us. I was also ale to track the details with

Hi @ViktorG , you may call them in case if you need to know the AOR numbers.

Hi,

I'll call them tomorrow. Thanks for information. Should I use UCI to get an AOR number?

I remember putting my email address and email as a mode of communication but for some reason CIC agent told me that my communications were set to mail so I told th to change it back to email on the phone no web form needed.

Same thing for me when i called to check what is my preferred communication. Apparently it's mail. so same guilines i too got to change in webform.

Yes, give them UCI number to start checking the status. Looks to me that your situation is same as me and @canadian2020 as our prefered comm mode is mail and not email. check that as well

Hello Guys,
My application was delivered on 13th July
Checked application status today
It says application received
Can anyone guide what happens next or when do I get AOR?
Thanks

Yes next step is aor.

Did you try to check status on ecas

That’s where I saw application received
Refer all my posts from Sunday :) you will get everything. Seems your's prefered comm is changed to mail rather than email

Call IRCC and tell them what do you see in ECAS and ask if you have AOR

Call cic and ask for your application #

People in previous posts suggested to check communication type mail vs email when you call as well
