July 2020 - Citizenship application

My wife recently applied for citizenship. There was a question whether she filed taxes in the last 5 years. She did for 2017, 2018 and 2019 and she marked as yes for both required to file and taxes filed. This was done with help from CRA. However did she also have to mention 2016 and 2015. She immigrated to Canada in August of 2017. Was never in Canada before that. So she only mentioned those 3 years.

Looking for anyone with same experience to answer. If they got AOR.

Yes! I got an AOR. Same situation. Marked only 3 years as you mentioned.

Sep 1 guy got AOR today and 50% of july and 60% of august are waiting. Nice

Yeah i think its same as it went all the way to June while Feb was not completed yet.
Another point to note if you call CIC is they will talk about status of In Progress and thats why theyll say they are working on March. They do not proivde status on AOR's as theyre not in system yet

June 2020 applicant received his AOR today .Hopefully second batch of AOR’s started for remaining applications.

It appears they started the next batch of applications for June. July to follow soon I guess.

Probably yes but you can never be sure until you get either AOR or your application back.

I received an email from IRCC today with subject line: We're still working on your application (APPLICATION-NUMBER)

However this application number belongs to my PR file which was approved and completed back in 2016.

Not sure what trigerred this email today. Could be the reason that I had applied for citizenship and got my AOR recently i.e. 19th Nov. Any thoughts?
