Note: Canada Post’s Mail Forwarding Service does not forward parcels and a citizenship application package is considered a parcel. If we need to return your application package to you because it is incomplete, the package will be returned to us instead of being forwarded to the address you have indicated with Canada Post. If your application package is returned to us by Canada Post, it will not be processed.

I will suggest keeping an eye on your old address just in case, you can explain this to the landlord and he can escalate this with the new tenant. Give them your contact in case you have a return application.

Thank you Das67, that I did not know yet. Letting new tenant or landlord know is good idea!

Anton, cool. Thanks for the information. But I thought you need AOR to update your address. Does it mean that after reception they can still give you information or update before AOR? Hmmm... When I called them about my question whether to refill the application form or not, CIC agent was useless. She could not answer the questions properly. She said " What does your letter say?" i answered Nothing about re-filling just complete information. The answer "....Crickets..." Well, hopefully they will not return it back again LOL
I used my uci number to get to file. I did not get aor so they could not tell me anything on that but they could change address on uci profile. What i suggest call, use uci to get more info

Can you give the number to call and are there any options we need to select or does it go directly to an agent?

Hi Anton, Das67 and all,

I just received my AOR. 3:08 PM ET. Checking the details now and both the family members received email at the same time.

Congrats

Oh forgot to mention, when i called cic i asked about "urgent processing - apply for job" ( not that i need just curious). I pointed that there is difference between job offer and job posting when apply for job is used. I also mentioned that some people abuse it by doing family of 4 on urgent when only 1 person is eligible.

I am OK if a person is eligible, but there are always those people who want to bypass the line.

Posted my experience with this in urgent processing group and one guy got upset and started reporting me, etc

Hi guys,
Can u pls add me to your magical excel spreadsheet?

Also, is there any way to pin the link to the spreadsheet at the beginning of this topic? It took me a while to find it.
Thx

Hey hey @ZhabaHulk! Remember me? We meet again in time to apply for citizenship haha. I submitted in June!

This is very confusing, what are you trying to achieve by reporting someone's case to IRCC? even if someone thinks he and his family are eligible for urgent processing, IRCC's agents have the discretion to decide if their case is urgent or not. It like you are telling them "you guys are not doing your job well and allowing people who don't have urgent processing cases to apply for urgent processing ". we are all applicants here and every one case is different and how urgent their case is, it's not up to me, you, or anyone else here to decide but it's up to IRCC to decide if their case is urgent.

First of all, I apologize here in entering this thread .
I also meant the same from the beginning. We are here to support each other. Not sneaking into other cases and elevating them infront of IRCC .

Wish you good luck everyone here in this thread on your process .

thank you

This is what you wrote. Not me. I wanted to understand what is "apply for job".

Man, you absolutely didn’t have to point out those things. Why dig into those? You only needed to talk about your application and not complain about how people abuse the application process (you don’t have evidence). I genuinely love your contribution to this thread but your move here was a very wrong one. Please desist from doing such in the future, the cic guys know how to treat individual applications. The agent you spoke must have been wondering why you were saying those things. Btw, I did regular application in case you’re wondering, but I absolutely have no right to complain about people that did urgent applications.
