On the top of this, they will accept only certain universities / colleges

What was wrong with the proof you sent? Most, likely all, Diplomas/Certificates from Philippines are in English.

I studied in Canada, sent copy of Degree

Another application from July 2020 got returned

They recieved the application july 2020 .I got the application today .Im here in Canada now and my documents transcript of records is from the Philippines.All in english languange and additional letter from school stating that the meduim used in our school is English ,Graduated Bachelor Degree .

Sorry, I was referring to this post, Anton. I was reading CIC guidelines for Language requirement and it seems that CIC has stringent criteria for diplomas and transcripts from abroad.

When I applied for my citizenship, I also used my Diploma (Bachelor's and Doctorate) plus my Transcript from the university. I did not have any issues with it. But hey, couple of years have passed.

Oh, okay. No. I have been in this forum starting 2010. I do not know what happened to my old account. I came back to share and answer questions to our fellow forum members to maybe give some light to sometimes confusing application process to citizenship and family sponsorship and other related stuffs based on my experience and CIC.
