I personally feel Canada should do more on human rights internationaly. Canada should bring people from Ukraine since they will be affected due to Russian invasion. Open a new stream for Ukraine like they did for countries like Nepal,Afghan and Syrian etc. I hope Canada stays the face of human rights internationaly.

I am from Ukraine and can tell you more.

Canada sent 120 million loan which will never be payed back? Canada helps Ukraine with weapons. On the top of this Europe gave 1 billion euro.

Ok, so now question. Does Ukraine not have money? Yes they do have in the pockets of politicians.

Last time i went to ukraine - police stoped us as asked for $. So you are saying i should worry about them now?

Ukraine shpuld figure out corruption first before anything else. And Canada should stop wasting taxpayers money.

Posted in this in the wrong (June 2020) thread first, therefore I repost here:

Please update my status in the google spread sheet July 2020 to:

December 16th, 2021: Status tracker change: 'Congratulations! You've been scheduled to attend your citizenship ceremony on January 18, 2022. Follow the instructions you will receive in your ceremony invitation.'

January 5, 2022: Received email invitation with instructions for Oath ceremony.

January 18, 2022: Attended online oath ceremony and became a Canadian Citizen!

I will keep updating for timelines for Citizenship certificate and Passport.

Update to above timeline:
Citizenship certificate arrived in the mail on January 28, 2022. So, 10 days after online ceremony.
Passport application was sent in on the same day I received the certificate. I'll keep you posted on Passport timeline.

Did you receive the oath invitation email after contacting the call center?

Update to above timeline:
Citizenship certificate arrived in the mail on January 28, 2022. So, 10 days after online ceremony.
Passport application was sent in on the same day I received the certificate. I'll keep you posted on Passport timeline.

All my statuses but the Oath are completed since Dec 17 2021, I sent an e-mail to my office (Scarborough) today and this was the answer:

Thank you for your email. Please be advised we have an inventory of ceremony ready files and all ceremonies have been scheduled up until April 31, 2022. Once you are scheduled for your ceremony, you will receive the Notice to Appear by email 1 week prior to the event.

I'm not sure if I am part of these scheduled cerimonies or not, I guess I'll have to wait 1 week prior the event then.

Well for starters april is 30 days so they messed that one up

The Citizenship ceremony hasn't started yet so I believe I'm not scheduled at all

I'm July applicant from Vancouver. DM in November. No oath scheduled yet.
