Hello all,

I been a silent reader on this forum from sometime.

CEC Inland with 1 outland dependent (Pakistan)
AOR: July 2020

July 22, 2021: Received PPR. Did not wait for my COPR and submitted her passport. Now she has her COPR and Visa stamped valid till March 2022.

As of now, I am still to receive COPR and complete landing.

I made a mistake and created my own account on New PR Confirmation Portal in August 2021. Submitted photo and declared in Canada August 20, 2021. No COPR yet.

Contacted IRCC multiple times (webform, emails) and spoke to about 4 agents on the phone. No update.

October 14, 2021: Received reply from an immigration offer via email that they cannot confirm my PR at this point because mine and my spouse COPR are expiring in less than 6 months. I replied to them saying I never received any COPR nor completed landing but no reply yet.

Any suggestion for me on what to do? is anybody else in the same situation as me?

I need to travel and bring my wife so I have decided to apply for work permit extension now. I don't know what to do. @legalfalcon any suggestions?

Hi, I just can't wait no longer. Been waiting in hell for 15 months now. I'm so exausted of this process.I will try a letter to Mp. Could anyone in this group be so kind to share a sample of a letter I could send? Or At least an idea of how it should look like?

Hey! Did you receive anything new? My story is that it’s almost been one month I got requested for remedical. I applied inside canada but had to leave as I was out of status AOR July 2020

How did you end up being out of status? You did not apply for BOWP?

Congrats! Did they ask you to do the medicals again? As per my GCMS notes my medical was valid until June 21. I haven't received any request for another medical. Should I get mine done anyways ?

How did you end up being out of status? You did not apply for BOWP?

I only had one year of PGWP and during that time I didn’t get an ITA. Within the grace period of 90 days I applied for BCPNP express entry but my consultant did something wrong and I got refusal. Later when scores dropped I suddenly received ITA for my CEC profile, before it was few days close to expiry as well. And I hired a professional Lawyer this time, gathered documents within 50 days and submitted my PR application and left Canada. Since July 2020 I’m in India

Well yes , they requested for remedical. I think you should wait until they ask

MP letter isn’t effective, Your PPR is on its way , feel your frustration, live the depression you’ll learn a lot from it. At least I can tell I learned something.

It’s a bit of a complicated story. I was not invited to apply CEC draw was 450 I created my profile my score was 454, next draw was 470. I did IELTS twice score improved but it didn’t work as the draw was still higher than my score. Then I applied for bc pnp but my consultant messed up and they refused my application after 4 months. Because of Covid cutoff was lower and I got ITA in CEC.

Yes, I have applied for the extension of my BOWP and to be honest, haven't come across anyone (personally or on online threads/forums) who did the same. The last time I called the IRCC helpline to ask about this, they told me that my PR application is in its final stage before COPR and asked me to apply for an extension of BOWP 1 month before its expiry if I don't get a decision on my PR application (this would be same as you would apply for a normal WP extension). I did so in the first week of this month and received a temporary extension of WP until Feb 2022. This can be used as my current WP till they process the application and give a decision on it. Hope that helps!
