When was your application profile on CIC updated to approved ? I got approved yesterday but no e-mail yet

It was approved 4 weeks ago! I passed all stages! But they took forever to issue me COPR! Finally after calling them yesterday around noon time! They send my copr through email

Spoke to cic agent regarding my AOR 18July (CIC inland) file, he said everything has been passed, it is the matter of local VO to contact you. Does anyone knows how long would it take?

Congratulations Max! Absolutely you can get SIN and am guessing health card too. For SIN the COPR is accepted as an official document.

Yes you can. Make sure you carry the COPR because they want to see it

You need to request a new one once you become a PR. The original one you get (starting with 9) is a temporary designation.
SINs beginning with a "9" are issued to temporary workers who are neither Canadian citizens nor permanent residents. These temporary SINs are valid until the expiry date indicated on the immigration document authorizing them to work in Canada.

Yes it does, you will now get a permanent SIN number.

Did you notice a change in the color of the progress bar on your CIC account? For some reason mine is green. Was it always green? I remember it was blue before. AOR-July 27. Still waiting for any update.

Biometric 30 Nov when Service Ontario reopens its scheduling tool
Eligibility First Recommended Pass in mid of December (Ordered GCSM note at the beginning of Jan and received in Mid of Feb)
Criminality and Security Passed 5 March (I saw the GU only once that, I was constantly checking my profile)

the GU for CEC inland might be a strong indicator of your application's approval
