• The application was received at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney (CIO), Nova Scotia on June 19, 2020.
• The application has been tentatively approved. A letter will be sent to your constituent to inform them of the next steps in finalizing the application

whats the meaning of tentatively approved?

Your application is approved, however, before it can be closed, a PPR visa and COPR has to be issued. So just wait for an official notification from IRCC.

Unfortunately,you have to wait until VFS starts taking biometrics for PR applicantions.Under the pandemic,non-essential travel should not be embarked upon,so I won’t advise any travel to another country to complete the biometrics.

Biometric completed and see one ghost update first time. what's next? AOR 13th July

I saw one profile with July 31st AOR got his COPR recently. Thanks

I called CIC now.

AOR is JULY 2ND!!
Medical passed on Aug 24, 2020
Biometrics 9 November 2020
Eligibility is still in progress
Criminal is still in progress
Security hasn't been started!!!!
CEC inland application.

So anyone who applied an application later than me, no worries! It seems they need more time.
Plus, Visa offices doesn't affect much I guess because many people got approval from Ottawa and local office even though their AOR is later than me. It just depends on your application and officers who check your application probably.

Hey Guys,

I have received the golden email today along with separate email with COPR for my and my wife.

AOR : August 29

• March 2, 2021 Your eligibility has been reviewed and passed.

Background check - I have received Ghost update for this i think.

• January 28, 2021 Your background check was completed.

Hang in there guys. You will get it soon. Wait was so much frustrating. I have called two times to CIC and they have confirmed various stages for the updates i have received in online profile. Criminality was first and then eligibility & Security.
