Hi guys,

I had Student Ambassador job in college on campus when i was an international student, the job was occasional, only on certain events like convocation and open house. In one year i only worked for approx. 100 hours. Since, this was occasional and I didn’t know how to mention in PGWP application, So I didn’t mention this job in my PGWP application but i mentioned all the other job that i have done.

But now when i was filling for my PR I have mentioned this job in my personal history.

Do you guys think this will create any problem like discrepancy/misrepresentation?

How long does it take to have the GCMS notes? approaching a month since requested and nothing received. Also, as I applied with CEC and I am on a job offer, I did not upload any financial document proof (e.g., bank statement). Would that cause any trouble considering that CEC inlands are not required to submit proof of financial means if they are on a job offer? Thank you.

I joined the 100% club earlier this year. However today I found that the 100% progress bar disappeared, and the line of words "Your case is taking us longer to process, about 20% of the cases are more complex" is disappeared! Anyone also observed this in the account?
same with me cannot see progress bar

My timeline:
AOR: July 20th
Medical passed: September 10, 2020.
Biometrics
: October 17, 2020 Completed.

I noticed that on Oct 15th my profile status changed from your action is required to submitted but biometrics hasnt changed until Oct 18th (I didnt check on Oct 17th).
Just called IRCC, the agent said everything looks good. She said they haven't used my biometrics yet to process my security, background and criminality. She also said the final decision wont be before January 20th... Good luck to all!!

Does that mean that July AOR's are on hold until after January 20th based on what she told you?

Yea why Jan 20th im wondering
Still somewhat of good news considering the fact Ontario goes on a 28 lockdown starting January 14, 2021. I think IRCC may be exempted because they provide an essential service even though they are working at a reduce capacity, some of stated on here they were told only about 25% are working at the office.

But they should be working from home already anyway right. I guess there will be delays due to that. Assen May I know what’s your aor?

My AOR is July 8, 2020. I wonder if they are able to approve the security aspects such as criminality, security and background check from home or if they have to go into the office and approve it from a secure server. That may explain the delay.

  • Your application is at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, for processing.
  • The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,
    • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.
  • The background verifications are in process.
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
  • The criminal background verification is in process
My AOR is July 21

Hope I get some updates soon! Was hoping my application would be a recommended pass by now.
