Hi CEC Team,

Do you think it's better to webform request or call? Feeling kinda uncomfortable to call, are the agents nice? Good morning, @AshishS87
I always call CIC, they are super nice and will try to help you in every possible way.

Servers are down for hours now!

Phone call centres cannot assist as their servers seem also to be down as well and they have no access to give status about applications at this point.

Yes, you guys are right, everyone is friendly and nice!

Due to the DOWN SERVERS, the agent could not really assist BUT:

AGENT STATED: If we have a linked biometrics info in the upper-right corner, IT MEANS THEY HAVE THE BIOMETRICS!
EVERYTHING is new due to Covid19, so systems REALLY SLOW! Agent said: NOTHING TO WORRY, will take time, might even just be able to see biometrics"completed" in the timeline by the end of the application.

So this is GOOD NEWS for everyone who is worried like me, LET'S BREATHE IN AND BREATHE OUT, GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE.
:)

Hi,

CEC inland applicant (individual):
AOR JUL 14;
Medical passed Sep 2;
Biometrics requested Sep 2;
Biometrics appointment Nov 13;

Folks, do you think it is possible we can get results in 6 months? What does eligibility pass mean? It that means the person will higher chance to get approval? Should I phone SC about status updates after giving biometrics?

Thanks for your replies in advance!
Good luck every one.

many applicants have got COPR within 4 months also. When Eligibility is pass then security and criminality left which will be checked after bio-metrics. Is your eligibility pass? how did you check it?

That's normal, but they have your biometrics if it's in the upper right corner. As stated earlier, covid19 is still new and fresh to their systems so sometimes it takes longer to show as "completed". They might change it also as such that it's by the end of the application, also normal the agent said.

So don't worry for now and relax @rami3332 :).
Although I know myself how hard it is as I'm also a CEC Inland July AOR.
