I requested GCMS notes twice in April and July and both indicated that the Security was "NOT started", but when I log into the GCkey portal the Background check was completed in March. So there is a chance that the information is not updated on GCMS notes.

Here is an update:

AOR: June 16, 2020
Medical: Passed on October, 2020 and extended on Dec 17, 2021 (expired on May, 2021)
Background check: still in progress
Eligibility: still in progress
Final decision: still in progress
  • 1st email requesting my home address and if I live in Canada: August 26, 2021; submitted same day
  • 2nd VLU email: August 30th, 2021; submitted requested info same day
  • 2nd New credential portal email: August 31, 2021; submitted information same day
  • eCOPR: waiting
My IRCC profile has no updates at all, my only advice is keep yourself busy/active during this waiting time, exercise will help with this anxiety and stop looking for @cic.gc.ca emails, it helps a lot to decrease the anxiety.

Congrats to those receiving emails from cic…
In my own case, I have never received any form of email from them. Keep wondering if they still have my info on file. My Gcms application is getting to 3months now without response.

I have been waiting 13 months with no updates at all others than my medical exam expired. Have you checked your spam/junk folders?

Did anyone receive medical test request again ?? I have submitted my application in august,2020 CEC Outland. IRCC asked for medical test again yesterday from me.

This guy applied exactly 1 year after me =))))) and already got COPR. in 45 days from AOR... that`s crazy. i dont understand what`s wrong with me.

OMG..i thought its just me who is not getting GCMS. It's been 2 months. Please post here when you get yours
