Hey, sorry GU stands for Ghost Update - when you application status says 'updated' but when you login, there is no actual change.
Does GU update mean that you guys are receiving fake updates via Email? Or is just 'updated' when you login but with no actual change?

Just called the agent and have some good updates!

AOR: July 17
Eligibility is finally passed!
Criminality: PASSED
Security: NOT STARTED

Does anyone knows how much longer will this typically take with only security pending?

What is the GU? my communication with IRCC only with telephone calls.. lately I call twice a week! my file has been transformed to Etobicoke.. Are there any notes OR steps I should order ??
GU is ghost update - where you see "Application Updated" but you can not see any posted updates in your application. It is just for internal update so you have to call IRCC and speak to an agent about the updates.

I dont' know about CEC, but regarding PNP, VO Sydney is one of the fastest VO tho. it's based on MTI.

Hello Members,
My CEC Inland application was sent to Etobicoke (My Local VO) from Ottawa after approval.

Its been 2 weeks I haven’t received my COPR yet and my online portal still shows in progress.

Anybody having latest information how much time Etobicoke taking to send COPRs these days?

Hi,
CEC inland with 3 inland dependents, living in Vancouver area. Just received COPR document yesterday.
-- never had any ghost updates
-- do not know which VO was working with my application
-- AOR July 6
-- medicals passed Aug 26
-- biometrics Oct 13
-- later in October we received a message that we needed to pay the PR holder fee (didn't pay that at the time of documents submission), so I think that's the time when our eligibility was under review. But eligibility status in the account (as well as everything else) hadn't changed until the very end.
-- Feb 18 we called IRCC (never called before). They said that all stages were passed but there was no final decision yet.
-- Feb 19 application shows as approved in the account with CORP #, but no COPR document yet. No update on email, just checked the account and the information about the approval was there. Also at that time background check started to show as completed on Jan 30
-- Feb 20 update about the approval on email
-- Feb 22 another update and COPR document available for download in account

Is there anyone with July AOR here that has gone into ”review required“?
My application went into RR at the end of October, I called yesterday and found out it has not been touched in the past 4 months. The call centre agent told me they have verified my work experience but it doesn’t state the reason for RR. GCMS notes also did not show much, the analyst recommended RR for eligibility but didn’t go into details. I came to Canada before 18, and my education and work experience are both gained in Canada, so I don’t quite understand why they had to RR such a straightforward case. Is anyone in the same boat?

How do you know your application went to RR?
