Last GU on 26th Feb. After that I called and agent said everything is passed and since then no update. Application is still in submitted status. I am not sure what pattern they are following.

Passed everything Feb 6th. Spoke to an agent yesterday. I was told the officer just needs to send me the final email. Not sure when that will happen. LOL
My AOR July8, Medical August28 Spoke to an agent on Feb 8 and the officer told me the same thing.

How much time does it take for background check? called and said background and review not started YET.

I am a CEC Inland candidate AOR: July 21; Passed all stages waiting for final review as per call with IRCC on March 1.

1) I want to travel outside of Canada due to essential purpose by end of April for 2 months. Can I travel without PR card?
2) If in case I receive my card after I leave. can I ask my friend to courier it to out of country?
3) in case if my PR card is process, can I come back on my work permit trv visa which is valid till 2022.

1. You are not a PR yet, you will need a visa and WP to reenter Canada. If during your stay your PR application is approved, you will have to apply for PRTD.

2. YEs, however, CBSA can confiscate your card and you may have to get it back by filing paper work, which is routine. Some PR card may be confiscated by CBSA if they do not have a consent to ship outside Canada and to deter immigration fraud.

3. No, the date you become a PR, i.e. when you receive your signed COPR, all existing visas and permits are void since you do not need them as you are a PR. You will need a PR card or PRTD to re-enter Canada.
