How long it's going to take to get health claim summary ??


Provincial/Territorial personal health claim summary for each province/territory you have resided in during the PR period

For information on how to obtain these records, please visit www.hc-sc.gc.ca/hcs-sss/delivery-prestation/ptrole/index-eng.php and click on your province or territory of residence for complete details and contact information.

Depends on the province. In Ontario, it takes about a month (I applied in mid December and received it mid Jan).

Not sure about other provinces, but my coworker got his in about 2.5 weeks in BC.

Can anyone confirm how their name is printed on Canadian passport. I didn't use Surname on my Indian passport. It has just given name. And my new Canadian passport has printed my full name as SURNAME and Given Name has (XXX) 3 cross marks.
is it supposed to be printed like that?

Yup, that is how names work here. Last names are mandatory here. If no last name is provided, the entire first name is printed as last name and the first name is blank.

If you want to split the name properly (one first and one last name), you'll have to do a legal name change and then use the name change document to update your name on the citizenship certificate AND then your Canadian passport and other documents.

New update on me, took the oath this morning. So, I’m officially a Canadian.
Next up, is the passport.

Oh, since I was asked about this, you can have people watching your ceremony. They mention it when they address everyone. However, you cannot record it. So, don’t plan on doing that.

Great. Can you elaborate on other people watching the ceremony? Does it mean I can share the link of ceremony with my family and they can watch it ? Thanks.

DM was on Jan 14, 2021. I forget before but now I updated my timeline fully. Time in my email says 7.21 am. I know how you feel. I wish you and everyone get their oath ceremony invite soon.

No, you can’t share the link. They are very specific in the email about that. Basically, family and/or friends would have to be in the physical space with you. The officials let everyone know that you cannot hit the record button on the Zoom session nor can you record it on any equipment (camera, phone, etc.)
