Did my oath ceremony today. Here are details:

1. Application sent: July 22, 2019.
2. AOR: October 9, 2019.
3. Test and Interview: January 16, 2020
6. DECISION MADE: January 25, 2020
7. Oath invitation email received: August 11, 2020
8. Virtual Oath ceremony: August 13, 2020
9. Region: Montreal, Quebec

No phone call or pre-registration process. Just received email two days prior to the ceremony.

There were 65 candidates and around 7-10 staff members including Judge in Zoom video conference. Ceremony lasted for two hours. Started at 1.05PM and ended around 3PM. Entire event was supervised professionally and managed systematically.

I would like express my gratitude to all members of this forum. My six years of immigration journey would not have been possible without valuable contribution by members of this avenue. Wish you all the best.

how long does it take for them to let you in the meeting. I am waiting for last 15 minutes. Please advise.

Finally its all complete.
Had oath today at 11 but was allowed in the meeting after 15 minutes of wait. It kind of freaked us.
But after we got in, the documents were verified. After that we were moved in another room with 26 other families and the judge.
Judge explained us our rights and responsibilities followed by the oath in both the languages.
Then we were sent back to our officer who made us sign the oath form and cut our PR cards into 4 pieces.
And then its complete.
Then it will wait for the citizenship certificate followed by the Passport application (whenever they open Service Canada)
