Hi any body hear good news from scarborough office ??? am waiting for last 8 months for oath, test done 8/1 decision made 9/1

Received a call from Immigration Canada yesterday, asked for my availability on Aug 20th for Oath Ceremony. He mentioned that i will be getting email invitation in couple of business days. Passed my test on March 9th, Mississauga center.

Our timelines are near identical my full line is in my sig below but I took the test on Jan 23 and DM was Jan 28.

GRRR... this is beyond frustrating. I hadn't even received my first oath invite. I think I was in the next wave that was to go out when everything shut down. I check my email daily to see and even check my spam, just in case. I just want this to be over

Congrats.
You just need to repeat the oath after the presiding judge in English and French.
Don't worry the officials are patient and very helpful.

Butchering any of these two languages/Declining to take oath in the second language might not look good specially during the Oath ceremony of the country whose formal languages are these!

But don't worry like I said, the presiding officials are chilled and the judge takes extra care to say the oath slowly particularly in French, one or two words at a time so that the applicant can repeat the sound without any problem.

If you wish you can search the audio of the oath in French and practice a bit to be comfortable. You will be fine.

Please don’t worry , we are in same boat..
I took test on 17 December 2019 and decision made 24 December. Still waiting for oath..

Not yet, u am supposed to get it atleast 48 hrs before the scheduled date aug 21. Would like to wait this week.

In myt virtual ceremony, EVERYONE butchered the French version, and there was no issue, they were just laughing, Its not a problem so long as you can say it in English after.

Officer called me around 5 pm and today I got a call again from officer he was asking for the availability of oath ceremony on Aug 27th time will be morning or evening which you will receive in the email invitation. Now waiting for the email.
