Is that even a thing? I thought everyone took the test, no?
only if you are between 18 and 54 years old. Younger and older are exempted

Oh yeah, true. But those people would still have to do the interview to present originals of all documents, which I think is at the same time of the tests, right?

added! Yes it will be by email, and you will likely receive it any day now. If you look at the spreadsheet, you will see that people with app received between Jul 9 to 15th are receiving the AOR these days, so you and my wife (her app was received on July 16th) are probably in the next batch of AORs.
Thank you!
That's great to know.

When do you guys start studying? I figured it's no use before AOR...

Keep an eye on ECAS, 'in process' is next step. After that waiting game begins. It depends on procesing office and if the application is in routine or non routine. Routine applications usually take 10 - 12 months to complete. Non routine applicants can take much longer.

updated. You can check in the spreadsheet the timeline for each steps from previous months applicants. That will give you an idea.

My application delivery date was July 12th. Still haven't heard anything. Does this depend on location?
