Hi everyone. Wondering if anyone else is on the same boat as I am:
July 2019 application sent
October 2019 AOR
Feb 2020 test invite
9 March 2020 in person test (passed, but officer requested additional docs)
15 March 2020 submitted additional docs
(COVID radio silence)
Oct 3 2020 officer calls saying I’m approved and should expect oath invite until end of month
And here we are, still waiting... ECAS shows Decision Made

I’ve tried asking what’s going on through WebForm but got a generic reply. Any thoughts?

On same boat, decision made in mar 2020, no update after that...

No, they said as they are operating under reduced staff and with virtual oath, you just need to wait until it happens.

I did my oath today online. It was pretty simple and easy procedure by Zoom i can say. I wish everyone waiting for oath or test invite get those things soon.

I have a question: does the online test have to written from a Canadian IP? I am currently abroad with family.

Does anyone know how this could work?

Yes, you need to be inside Canada. Just fly in or postpone.

Things take time, especially moving papers or information across various departments, in what is now the new normal virtual world. It's only a little more time....try not to stay peeled to the screen for updates....it will surely come. Unless it's very late , don't fret...enjoy and wait....

Yes you have to be physically present in Canada. You have to sign off that requirement when you attempt the test. There is no backdoor to it, like using a VPN, because your Passport will reflect entry and exit times...

Can you share the experience during the online ceremony. Thanks.

Thanks! It was pretty straightforward. Call in on Zoom > they verify ID > say the oath > cut up PR card and you're done in about 70 mins or less.
