Hi all,
I am really worried if my citizenship application will ever show processed anytime soon. I applied for myself and my wife on July 17, 2019 (Vancouver) and got application receipt on Oct 20, 2019. Since then the status still shows 'In process'.
I read the google sheet which shows lot of people who applied in July last year got their test/ceremonies early in 2020.
Is anyone else here waiting for the 'in process' status to change as well?
Thanks again!!
Its a mixed bag. Many got a call prior to the email while many never got a call, just an email asking about their availability and ability to take an online oath. I just got an email. No phone call ever other than the usual "Service Canada Legal Department" telling me that they are after me...For those that have taken their oaths, did you receive a call prior to an email for the ceremony date? I keep checking my email and picking up every call that comes through (needless to say I've been answering a lot of "Service Canada Legal Department" scam calls), so I'm just trying to determine where I should focus my energy.
Should I be checking looking for emails from CIC regularly or just wait until I get a phone call?
I haven't seen many oaths in Calgary lately on this forum, but that could just be because people who aren't on here are the ones being scheduled at this point.

There are reports in this forum about IRCC conducting the ceremonies with larger audience. So you will get the invite soon but cant say through a call or an email. Stay calm, all the best.

I dont pick up spam calls often so could have missed. Is the ceremony invitation by email or by mail to your home address? If email, can you tell me what is the email address from where you got the email?
Are you based in Ontario? I have filed everything before (when compared to your timeline) but never received anything yet.
