Can someone please help on this..Called the CIC person once last week, they say its under review and there are no pending from our side..

However we are not getting any update in the profile..not sure where it is lying..please help

The profile doesnt get updated at all until you get the counterfoil visa stamped on your passport then it will change to approved, but any other step taken or a process that is concluded isnt reflected on the profile.

Dont worry, that is almost always the case. The application files get transferred from the head office in Syndey Nova Scotia to the IRCC visa offices in and outside Canada. I would be exaggerating but i think 70 percent of the outland applications are processed in Ottawa. Relax

It happened with me as well. Initially it was in Sydney, then in Ottawa, then again it went back to Sydney. My profile didn’t get updated though.

Happens with a lot of people, Sydney, Nova Scotia has the main intake office and due to workload they often redistribute the work on other visa offices however some stay at Sydney its all fine and normal

Hey, on the webform they say they won't reply if the application is still within normal processing time frame... So you didn't have any problem? It's worth a try?

Nothing happened on my timeline after medical exam passed until today: "ready for visa: cpco-finalrequest" (after exactly 5 months)

Outland applicant from France with a Brazilian wife. We lived and married in Sweden then lived 4 months in Switzerland. Lots of travelings and address changes for me. Spent 5 months in Canada for a simple uni exchange. City of choice: Ottawa. Points: 483.
AOR: July 9th.

Honestly I was expecting a 10 months wait do I was barely checking my profile . Please ask me for more details.

Not sure but i would think,the file is still into initial stage of background check !
