Hi how long does it take for background check to be done if applicant never travelled and background form is only filled whith his educational past like high school and university?

No AOR or any other email from cic.
I succesfully linked ECAS with GCkey (without AOR).
My file shows a UCI number & a application number.

Has that happened to anyone?...does that mean they are working on it?

Hi, my husband is in afghanistan i am sponsering him to canada my application got rejected june 2016 appealed july 2016 went to the full hearing july 2018 october appealed allowed won the appeal ottawa just emailed my husband to send the application kit medical and police check is that normal does anyone know do i have to send them more supporting documents or just the application kit im confused

Or try to signup for GCkey with PA details

I had tried before but it wasnt working...just signup for GCkey & use all of PA details, thats how it wotked for me.

If one person is the PA..then put 2 (where it asks for number of applicants/sponsored persons).

you may click the underlined status - In Process
so you can see the date they started processing
your sponsorship application. good luck .. bests

1. We received your application for permanent residence on July 26, 2018.
2. We started processing your application on November 2, 2018.
3. We sent you medical instructions on October 5, 2018. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4. Medical results have been received.

GCkey says Background Check in progress.

Just received pre-arrival services email.

Am I nearing the end?
