It wasnt police clearance. They asked for school certificates and voter id to establish Birth date identification. They asked for additional bcoz there were remarks on Birth Certificate stating “Late Registration”.Hi,
Can you share what type of additional documents you have to submit?
Is it Police Clearance?
Thanks!
Have they started processing your application? Mine says they started processing January 4,2019Gosh!
AVO; Accra Visa office is as slow as a child's mucus!!
Too bad...I even sent an email to change my contact address, not even a response within the 28 days they claimed to reply...wish there's something I can do to change this. Fingers crossed prayerfully.

So it didn't get transferred to New Delhi.. U got the Passport request directly?Yeah in Mississauga. Thanks
It is better to have it corrected after marriage. that way she will have your last name on the Marriage Certificate>>Passport>>PCC will be in sequence. PCC usually is given after PassportHello all,
I recently got married to the love of my life in my country of origin. I am a Canadian citizen and wish to apply for my wife’s immigration.
Upon looking at her current passport, I see that her first name has been left blank and the last name section is where her first name is printed. Her birth certificate when it was made mentions just her first name and no last name to go with it.
Please advise what I should do in order to ensure a complete application for her immigration
Thank you in advance.
Story not clear. U mean you guys did wedding but did not register it? They would like to see all the proofs with dates etc.. AND don't forget any marital status changes should have been informed before moving to Canada , problems=yesDoes it matter that ircc was not informed about traditional(customary) wedding before the sponsor first moved to Canada simply because he has not done the legal wedding (which is what legally changes marital status). He later traveled back to his home country months after landing to do the legal wedding so he can file for the spouse. Is there any odd with this scenario?
Nothing till now
Can you explain? It is better to have it corrected after marriage. that way she will have your last name on the Marriage Certificate>>Passport>>PCC will be in sequence. PCC usually is given after Passport
If you did not file her sponsorship yet then it is good idea to change names in the passport but it is not mandatory. Some people leave it like as it is, when she arrives here changes can be made hereCan you explain?
I already got married to her. Should I change her name to include her last name in the passport and birth certificate before I apply for her PR?
