Its very frustrating now for us. I applied my family for Citizenship. We are 6 applicant in one envelope. Our application received June 25, 2018, AOR Aug 24 and In Process August 24, 2018. But until now we haven't receive any Test Invite. Its very frustrating because one of my officemate who applied Oct 2018, just received test invite April 24, 2019 and just take oath already after she pass the test.

I dont know if I am going to call the CIC or just wait. If you are going to count from Application received June 25 up to now its going to 12 months. Can you give any suggestion if I am going to call the CIC or need to wait.

Thank you

I'm in toronto and my application process since September 2018

Still waiting for test

do i have to call them ????

Hello,

I am also in Toronto, In process Aug 24, 2018. Never get any test invite until now.....its been very slow in Toronto. Its not actually slow..but its unfair. My officemate applied In process Oct, 2018, received test invite April 24, 2019 and take oath after she passed the exam. Dont know how they process the application..those new applicant was processed earlier than those old applicants..BIG WHY!!!!

Hi all - My partner failed twice the written exam (both times for 1 extra mistake, annoying) therefore he has now been invited to an oral exam with a citizenship judge/clerk. Any experience to share here? How many questions and how hard could it be? Any information would be much appreciated.
You can imagine the tension around. He applied in July 2018.
Thanks :)

It so sad, but don’t worry they wont bother to getting citizenship for failing test. Finally they will help him to pass test somehow. Good luck.

I completed oath ceremony yesterday 14th May 2019. Finally my CIC/IRCC journey is over. Today my ecas changed to complete. Said you become Canadian citizen on May 14, 2019. This forum has been very helpful for both my PR and Citizenship application, and I'd like to thank every single member out here for all the amazing discussions held here that helped a lot for me during this journey. If I calculate while I applied first time my application received on May 14, 2018 then its exactly 12 months. In actual fact my application returned on July 4, 2018 and I reapplied on same day and application received on July 9, 2018, therefore originally it took 10 months. I was more than upset while my application returned after 2 months but see end is good. So guys do not get upset. Some applicant get done within very short period and some have to wait longer then expected time. Do not get disheartened there is an end for everything in this life. Keep your faith, your time will come as well. Wishing good luck for those who are still waiting.
Good luck everyone.

Update (line 66 on spreadsheet)

Passed the citizenship test and interview yesterday May 15th. Ecas changed to decision made this morning, May 16th.

Side note: lady that interviewed me said they are still waiting on some security clearance, so I will receive the oath invitation in the next 2-3 months.
