Thanks Boso.
I called the number and spoke with the representative.
She was polite and gave me the information.
Looks like background check is done and my Test is not yet scheduled.

When I asked any idea when it could happen, she gave a blanket statement.
"since your application was submitted on Jul 27, 2018, test could be scheduled anytime till Jul 27, 2019. Wait till then and get back if you do not hear from IRCC till then"

So its wait and watch situation.
Hope i will get test invite soon as others have started getting.

Cheers,
Sharat

Well, i don't expect the Mississauga files to move into the Test Scheduling phase anytime before end of January / early Feb due to sheer volume & vacations.

Hello,
I got the email requesting fingerprints on Friday the 14th. My local police office is swamped with fingerprint checks for the Special Olympics, so my appointment is not until the second week of next year.
My line is 99.
Also my office is Scarborough, not Toronto.

Why not use an RCMP accredited fingerprinting agency?

If your names haven't changed since birth/post marriage you don't need to do anything, u can leave it blank.. or if u want to write "Name at Birth" that's fine too.
Thank you. One more question, for question 10a) I do not know the postal code of the place where I lived outside Canada because we rarely use it over there for address. So what should I do? should I write N/A?

Thanks

u mean u stayed for over 183 days outside Canada?? try googling the postal code of the area where u stayed.

If u were on a vacation.. u don't need to provide an address outside Canada.
I went to India for a month during my eligibility but haven't provided the address as it's not relevant.

Hi, I had the same situation for a company in India I worked for.
I just left the email blank for that one and provided all other details.

That should work as long as they have all other details to contact the previous company.
