Hi, I have received test / interview invitation today i.e. Nov 06, test will be on Nov 26.

I was not expecting that I will get the invite this early, considering I am from Edmonton. I haven't started reading the book...

Any tips/ help is strongly requested

If you traveling outside canada you need to renew your PR but the prossing time is 106 days... so wait until you get your citizenship then you can leave

Given the fact that you cannot apply for PR card renewal outside Canada, so if you really need to travel outside of Canada and your PR card will be expired during your trip, you need to apply for travel document from any Canadian embassy in order to return Canada

I have finished my fingerprint on 18th October, but I just checked my application status online.

but It still showed "We sent you correspondence on October 11, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."

How about you guys? when your status changed to 'Receive the Fingerprint'? thanks!

In process date is 9.12, and I received letter about fingerprint is 10.18.

Dear Friends,

I got the email Test invite yesterday on 01 Nov 18 for myself and my spouse. They have given a date of 23 Nov 18 and am based out of Edmonton. Please update my records in the excel sheet submitted accordingly. I am required to carry all the original copies for which i had submitted the photocopies in my application (like CELPIP copy, degree / mark sheet certificates of my Spouse for English knowledge as well etc).

I have two kids less than 18 years old and they are not required to appear for the Test (in case anyone has any question).

The email came from CIC Edmonton Citizenship. My AOR was received on 13 Sep 18.

You have mentioned that u have to carry originals of all the photocopies of the documents which u have submitted with your Application,Can you please tell me if u have been asked to bring your citizenship application form also along with originals of your documents such as degree,marksheets etc.?.

Guys need urgent help, Iam a September applicant and one of our September applicant got his application returned due to ids for his kids, I used passport ( one copy only but a note at the end stating Iam using pp as proof of I’d) with photo and health card without photo, school records don’t have photo, was someone in a similar situation and got aor?

I used passport copy and school letter / record (without pic). But I did send two copies of passport. My application has been accepted and I will be writing the test later this month.
