Hi, I submitted my application to CIC on August 12. I did not get any AOR email or other confirmation. How long it takes to get first email?. Please help

Hey Guys,
I have a question- how do we get to know about the test date? Do we get an email or postal mail? And how much time we get from the notification to actual test date. I am an Ottawa applicant.

The reason I want to know about the email/postal mail is - In ECAS the system is showing my correct address for 'Current Home Address' but showing my old address for 'Mailing Address' the mailing address is what I had for my PR application. In the AOR email, CIC has used my correct address. Do I need to worry?

You’ll get an email, in my case they gave me about 3 weeks notice. But usually they do give you more notice than that.

I was in the same boat as you, 2 different addresses in Ecas. I went ahead and changed it online, took about 3 working days and it was updated.

Is there any chance of Test invitation as well??

Some people received the test invite thru email. Or it showed on their ECAS too. I read on another thread about the same line you have on your ECAS and it was fingerprint request. If incase it is, just do it ASAP .

I received my AOR and was able to login to ECAS - always said 'Application received'. Now I am unable to login to ECAS and it says insufficient information and I cannot be found. Anyone experienced this today?

Try your UN number and don't forget to use - in between the 8 digits like this 2222-4444

That most probable, I would say 90% finger print request. Could different but based on previous record I am right. Not too sure if its test invite. May be not.

Congratulations on those who finished the application so quickly! Pls remove me from the list as our application was returned due to incorrect photo specification. The photo did not have info needed at the back. We have resent it, but it means we will be August group now.
