Hello,

Did they specify the reason why the 1st one was returned?

Were you able to track down the one sent in September, just to make sure that it was delivered?
Did you try to call cic center?

I forgot a checkmark on the application. I rectified the mistake on the new application. Yeah it was delivered on time. Is there a number I can contact these guys on?

I'm trying to check my application status using my PR card number, last name and my date of birth.. doesn't seem to be working. Says does not exist jn the database

Milton hasn't IRCC office closest Citizenship and Immigration is in Mississauga.
Should be your processing area Citizenship and Immigration Canada Office, Canada, 3085 Glen Erin Dr, Mississauga, ON

I submitted my application on July 23rd 2018 and heard nothing until I called them today (December 4th, 2018) and they said that it was closed is being sent back. They never mentioned why it was being returned. I am in a bit of a panic and would greatly appreciate if anyone who has experienced this before can enlighten me what the reason typically is?

I'm so sorry to hear that! I can be something minor, such as you forgot to check a box that CIC can access your docs from other agencies, it can be a mistake on behalf of the immigration office (human error) or missing docs etc... If you made copies of all docs you sent to CIC, I'd review them and send a new application ASAP - you can also wait to get the old one back but it will prolong the process.

I just went through it and I can't see any error thus far. It just sucks that they wont tell you whats wrong exactly until you get your application. It would've been easier to know now than to wait for the letter to arrive in 6 weeks.

My application went to In Process late September. It seems NOBODY from GTA area has received the Test Invite yet. Anyone heard anything about it? Or People in GTA area may only expect to start receiving Test Invite after New Year?

I am confused how the agent know that the application being return !!! If any application return it won't be in the system, how they know that. Until application received by the sender no one will know that. Al thought information wrong or right I will recommend you to wait until you receive the package and see why the the application returned then make correction during this time do your physical calculation now that you can save some time.
