After a potentially stressful day, I had my Interview yesterday March 13, in Vancouver.
Very welcoming process as compared to going through CIC Border Control at the Airports.

Decision Made today!

Thank you Forum, and could you please update the Sheets for Line 54

For anyone going for the Interview/Test, there were at least two people yesterday that had not understood that they were going to have
to complete the test yesterday. They were both shocked and dismayed as they had not prepared. They were told that if they did not try, they would be regarded as a no show, and re-scheduling is 3 to 4 months before an opening would be available again, but if they had a failed attempt they would be re-scheduled a lot sooner.

I'm over 54 so I only had to go through the Interview, I was a bit worried as I came to Canada as a Landed Immigrant in 1977, and have never had a PR card. I travelled a lot, always showing my disintegrating piece of paper. But, it was ok, thank goodness.

I'm so sick of checking my status on CIC. if they send the notification by email, I would stop checking my status..

Hey how are you ? Yeah I know what you mean .I was the same.but i received it through an email .its usually the case that you receive it through an email .and then it can take up to a few days for the ecase to be updated. Hope this is helpful

My app is GTA (Toronto), it is moving as well, though in slow pace.

Awaiting now for the letter with the ceremony date.

I got a friend, single app, Toronto as well, who sent out her application Mid-October and got her test invite Mid-Feb and did the test Yesterday. Don't know her dates, but I know it is a normal application (Not those urgent ones) and it was freakin' fast...
