No i didn't email to any VO and it came from Etobicoke. I was knowing would probably get a email on tuesday as for CEC inlands PPR/landing interviews are sent out on 1st or 3rd tuesday's of the month which is a day before the draw.

I just received my second set of GCMS notes. I ordered them on December 7th, and the document is dated as December 10th.

Basically my application was idle from August 20th, when my Review Required was cleared, until November 2nd, when an agent wrote a note stating that my wife and I have passed the criminality (which was already 'passed' since August!?)

On December 21st I called CIC and the security was still 'not started'.

No wonder my application is late...

Got my first notes today, same as you: idle from August to November when criminality was passed, exactly when I noticed IP2 in my profile. Nothing happened after that.

Wondering why it's taking so long for the security to start/finish.

CEC category (1 yr Canadian experience) currently residing in Ontario
Total Applicants: 2
ITA: 21st March 2018
AOR: 2nd July 2018
Medicals Passed: 18th July
IP1: 18th July
Updated my old passport thru webform: 11th Nov
IP2: 6th Dec
2-3 times ghost updates seen in my account as "Updated" and nothing inside: 7th Dec to 14th Dec

Called CIC couple of times: 21st Dec-As per agent security/BG completed AND 2nd Jan-As per agent everything is completed wait for few days, no status disclosed.

Ordered GCMS/ATIP notes: On 4th Jan
Opened CSE: On 4th Jan
Reply to CSE: On 7th Jan "We verified the information you provided and can confirm that a decision has been made on the application. Rest assured that the responsible office will contact you by mail or email to provide you with that decision." Still approved/rejected not disclosed. This email actually freaked me out and I was just thinking my application is rejected and the agent is not telling.

Emailed Ottawa CPC: today 2019-01-08 afternoon
Call with CIC: today - 2019-01-08 evening: Agent confirmed application was approved on 18th Dec and per him within 30 days of approval, applicant will get PPR email. He asked me to wait till 17th Jan and after that call back again.
Current processing office: Sydney, NS

Got an email from dontreply that I have a new message in mycic account. Logged in and it was an attachment called information letter.
It requests passports, pictures and height/eye colour information for applicants.

* I don't know if it was pure coincidence or just odd timing. Nothing happened on my file for 4 months, I ordered CBSA notes and 5 days later Criminality was passed. I would like to think that could nudged my dormant file. But who knows.

Hoping everyone gets thiers as soon as possible. It's coming on it's own sweet pace for everyone.

This is my first post here. I have few doubts and would really appreciate if someone could take out time to answer them.
1.) Do we need to maintain the funds during the duration between receiving PPR mail and before soft-landing formalities. So what I want to know,
is that could my funds go below the $12,475 limit after receiving the PPR mail and when I submit my passport for COPR. I would definitely have funds above this limit when I do the soft-landing procedure. But will the funds below the prescribed limit affect the COPR stamping on the passport.

2.) I have the AOR received on Jul 20. I believe with the status msg I see on my account, I am still in IP2. I would like to start enquiring about my file since it is almost going to be 6 months soon.
Can someone guide me the procedure to order GCIMS , CBSA notes, or enquire through CSE.
I would appreciate if someone could point out to me a thread which explains the detailed procedure like email, sample email format if possible for the above. Also which one should I start with for a timely response containing more information regarding the stage my application is in.

1. Ideally yes you need to maintain balance till the time you do your landing. Unless really urgent I would advise keeping funds where they are.

2. Given you are just 12 days away from your 6 month mark ordering GCMS may not help now. It takes 30+ days to get those notes. Even CSE these days get generic response so may not be helpful. Your best bet is to call IRCC call center and try to find out what is happening with your file. The numbers are

Especially with regards to "security" status. They give very contradicting information and you were now worried about being in SS. Only approved applications told by call agents can be ascertained to be true.

What about Ralph's reply can we rely on that?

Guys - I have applied for my second set of GCMS notes on 6 dec. I got it today and would just like to share something interesting. I went into IP2 on Nov 15 and have called agent in 4th week of Nov and I was told Criminality passed and Security is Ongoing.

As per GCMS notes my Security is showing "Not started" as of 6 Dec. So one cannot trust what these agents tell you.

Yes I got the PPR- Check my signature. Wait for GCMS notes and I can help to see if you are in SS or not.

I was myself scared of SS bcoz my Security was ongoing for more than a month. But GCMS notes tells another story. I ordered GCMS on 6 Dec and got it yesterday.
